The Kansas African American Museum is pleased to announce the official launch of our
Education Department's

Adinkrahene: Journey to Greatness

Adinkrahene: Journey to Greatness is a
four session program that provides up to 8 hours of
cultural enrichment programming for students grades
4 - 8. 

The goal of this program is to
empower students to elevate cultural awareness, understanding, research ability, and
appreciation of the significant contributions of Africans and African Americans.

This program is support by the
United Way of the Plains 2023 Promise on the Plains Grant and Evergy.

TKAAM's Education Department's mission is to educate ALL individuals through transformative educational programming and opportunities to encourage the appreciation and understanding of Kansas African American history, art, context and meaning.
