HISTORY TRAIL

Ted D. Ayres retired from Wichita State University as Vice President and General Counsel Emeritus in 2018.  As a member of the Board of Directors of The Kansas African American Museum, Ted currently serves as the Board’s President.  He had the pleasure of serving as the Museum’s Interim Executive Director from May 21 until August 17 of 2018 and during that time, became fascinated with the historical significance and the cultural potential of The Kansas African American History Trail…visiting all of the designated sites on the Trail, as Project Coordinator, has only served to enhance, enrich and expand that fascination.
